Smallville Losing Another Star
Barely a week after losing series star Michael Rosenbaum, Smallville is set to suffer another killing blow.
Original cast member Allison Mack is balking hardcore at signing on for Season 8, and she isn't the only one. Not only has Rosenbaum departed, but so has Kristin Kreuk, who will be filming Street Fighter overseas. John Glover has departed as well, his character having been killed off by Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor. John Schneider and Annette O'Toole have been long gone, and Sam Jones III, who played Pete Ross, was out before the end of the second season. Series creators and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar have also departed the show, leaving four of the show's writers to step up and take the helm....

AMPTP Dares SAG to Strike
The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers are setting themselves up for another kick to the head.

No new date has been set for the resumption of SAG-AMPTP negotations, and Counter's organization is turning their attention towards AFTRA, who decided to negotiate separately from SAG instead of the usual joint negotiations.
